The Somona tiny house was built in Oregon by Spindrift Tiny Homes.
It’s one of their model homes, along with the Joshua Tree tiny house.
All tiny homes by this company are customizable – you can contact them to talk through your ideas.
The Somona is a bright tiny house that has all the features you need for tiny house living, including an on-demand hot water heater and an A/C and heating system, as well as some great storage solutions.
The Sonoma is 26’ long. It has large windows that allow for lots of sunlight to enter and make you feel closer to the nature around you.
Living and dining area
In the living area of the Somona is a good size L-shaped couch that folds out into a queen size bed – allowing two more people to sleep in the tiny home.
It also features a surround sound Bluetooth stereo system – pretty neat!
The dining area here is behind the kitchen and kind of separate from the ‘living area’.
It’s comprised of a folding breakfast bar that seats two.
You’ll also see from the picture below that the tiny house also has skylights. There’s another not pictured, making two in total.
The kitchen in the Somona has a full range of appliances so you can cook anything you like.
It has a three burner gas range oven and hood, a deep sink and classic fridge and freezer.
The kitchen looks great with the white accent color, and has a tiled backsplash to protect the wood walls.
There’s also tons of creative storage underneath the countertops, above the stovetop and to the right of the fridge is a full pantry.
The staircase behind the kitchen leads up to a loft with reading lights.
Inside is enough storage for a full closet, as well as space for shoes, towels and kitchen utensils.
Lastly, the bathroom is fully kitted out with everything you need.
There’s an LG washer and dryer combo to provide laundry facilities.
It has a composting toilet and a tiled walk-in shower.
